Since its inception, Franz Haas winery has tirelessly worked to express the quality of the grapes at their finest. Founded in 1880, the winery has been handed down for eight generations to the firstborn son, to whom has always been given the same name, Franz. Today, the winery processes grapes from 60 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards, which are cultivated sustainably and close to nature, are located in Montan as well as in the surrounding communities of Neumarkt, Aldein and Truden at varying altitudes from 220 to 1.150 meters. Franz Haas is now known beyond the country's borders for viticulture at high altitudes, as several hectares of land at high altitudes were leased as early as 2000 due to the advancing climate change. After twenty years, this decision has been confirmed as forward-looking due to the excellent results. The vineyard at 1.150 meters in the municipality of Aldein is one of the highest sites in South Tyrol. Franz Haas has always been recognized as leading enthusiast and an expert of the most arduous, sensitive, yet most satisfying grape variety of all: Pinot Nero. Nonetheless, various varieties belonging to the whole range of Alto Adige's wines are vinified with the same attention. Another detail that distinguishes Franz Haas is the connection with the artist Riccardo Schweizer, who created the labels and whose artistic career is linked to famous artists such as Picasso, Chagall, Cocteau, Paul Éluard and Le Corbusier. The labels were donated by Maria Luisa Manna to Franz as a token of good fortune for the release of his wines. The first label chosen by Franz was the one for the Pinot Nero Schweizer, first vintage 1987, released in 1990. At that time, more traditional and parochial labels were commonly used: coming out with a black and gold label, although as simple as it could be, made an impact. Apart from the high quality of the wines, people began to appreciate these labels and even today, almost thirty years later, they stand out on shelves in wine shops and on restaurant tables and are easily remembered.

Mionetto, in the heart of Prosecco since 1887.
Mionetto was born in 1887 from the love and passion for the land of master wine-maker and family founder Francesco Mionetto.
Located in the hills of Valdobbiadene, in the heart of the historical Prosecco area, today a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mionetto has been able, in over 135 years of history, to represent the territory of origin and to become one of the most representative Italian sparkling wine producers on the international scene and a reference winery in the Prosecco market.
Since the very beginning, the winery stood out for its modern and innovative approach, which was capable of anticipating trends while maintaining a strong bond with the traditions of its homeland.
Mionetto's world success is based on history, tradition and constant attention to quality, which is constantly sought in the production process and starts from the selection of grapes. Thanks to the work of its oenologists and to the partnership with local producers, who have supplied their best grapes selections for generations, Mionetto is able to offer a high quality product. Thanks to this, to the continuous innovation of the product portfolio and to the unmistakable style and strength of the brand's expression, Mionetto is capable of reaching a transversal target of Italian and international consumers.
Mionetto has established itself as an international brand and it was one of the first wineries in the denomination to export Prosecco outside its national borders, from Germany to the United States, where Mionetto USA Inc. has been based since 1998.
Since 2008 the winery has been part of the Henkell & Co. Group, now Henkell-Freixenet, one of the major world's sparkling wine producers. The complete takeover of Mionetto by the German Group has brought great opportunities for growth in terms of both market development and internal organization and management.
A change in continuity, as proven by the decision to hand over the company management to the Top executives in Valdobbiadene. Today the winery administration is led by the Management Board comprising Alessio Del Savio (Managing Director, Technical Director and Oenologist), Paolo Bogoni (Chief Marketing Officer), Robert Ebner (Chief Sales Officer) and Marco Tomasin (Chief Financial Officer).

Ruggeri is a historic winery founded in 1950 in Valdobbiadene the most evocative area of the entire Prosecco Superiore DOCG denomination. Ruggeri produces its sparkling wines from grapes grown in the splendid hills of Valdobbiadene, known for producing the highest quality grapes of the denomination. Right at the center of this territory lies the precious Cartizze hill, the most famous cru of the entire area. The constant striving for quality has resulted in Ruggeri becoming one of the key producers of Cartizze sparkling wine, so much that the logo of the winery symbolizes the enduring bond between Ruggeri and the Cartizze area. Ruggeri strongly believes in a collaboration with nature. The team of agronomists have set up an innovative and sustainable pruning training program for the grape suppliers. Furthermore, since 2019 Ruggeri has joined the SQNPI certification. This Quality System is recognized at European Community level and aims to use agronomic methods to minimize the use of chemicals, water and energy. Driven by its pioneering spirit, Ruggeri since many years supports the promotion of a culture of time, to give Prosecco an evolutionary perspective, offering different vintages in the form of vertical tastings. Furthermore, Ruggeri has been the first winery to produce a Prosecco using only the grapes of century-old vines. Journeying into the unknown and pushing the boundaries is the innate characteristic that inspires its enduring quest for quality.
